I am David
I have not got very far in the book "I am David", but from what I have read I have established that David is a 12 year old Jewish boy who lived in a concentration camp in Germany. He got help from a friend in the camp and escaped. He travelled for quite a while and ran out of food and water. Eventually he came across a delivery van and snuck in...that is as far as I have read.
